Google Keep - Notes and lists App Reviews

Saw this on a friends phone and liked the look so downloaded it. I immediately deleted it. How stupid is an app that requires you to sign and log on before you can use it. I just wanted to capture local notes. Really really dumb.

So far this app is everything I need as a full time college student who likes to have one app for notes and others for tasks. Google keep does that well, with great back-up. Im able to open the app on my phone, write a note, and add to it throughout the day, even when switching the devices you can easily have youre notes connected instantly. Has a useful organization system with labeling/archiving. Has a help button with great response time for trouble shooting. So far I love this app. I will continue to use it and will most likely raise it to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google Keep is my favorite note keeping application. I love the UI, its brilliant ! Google please add the ability to OCR images like your web version and incorporate the ability to lock notes.

When try to update the app fails

Update: 23 Sep 2016 Google, what did you do?! Scrolling long notes in iOS is so smooth now! Id like to buy the Keep team a beer. Youd have to share the single beer. But its something, right? Old review: Long notes do not scroll smoothly. A bit jarring.

Crashes even after update. Cant open it after updating to iOS 10.

Best.Update.Ever. The scroll lag is finally gone, and is now smooth as butter! Another great app from the Google! Previous: (3 stars) If you type too many lines in a note, the scrolling begins to lag. Its extremely annoying, so a fix would be good. Other than that, its a pretty good app.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this App... and probably depend on it WAY too much. It REALLY helps me run my life... Which is why it is SODistressing that... As of Today (9/24/16)... It became largely inoperable... On BOTH iPad and iPhone. Wont even Open on Phone... Just CRASHes me back to Home Page whenever I try to Open App. Not much better on Pad. CRASHes me back to Home Page about 50% of the time. The other 50%?... Takes FOREVER to Open (:30-:45 White Screen/no "Processing" indicator while I wait)... EVEN when I have LEFT it open, gone to another "window" and tried to come back to Keep: WhiteScreen Or CRASH... Sometimes both. BTW... it ALSO CRASHes on the AppStore, when I try to Open for there and when I Click on the SUPPORT Link. PLEASEHelp!

No reason for forced google account integration. It should be an option, and should be noted on the app page that you cannot use it without a Google account. Evernote is the superior planner/advanced notepad.

This is a solid app. Its definitely not a replacement for Evernote, but it works very well alongside Evernote, for simple lists, ideas, thoughts, etc.—primarily for things that you dont need to "file" away for a long period of time. However, I have been having syncing issues where a change made on desktop, for example, gets undone when I open the iOS app, and vice verse. So, there are some syncing problems.

Ive just bought the new iPhone 7 plus and the app is incredibly slow to load images. And the ones it does load arent full images. Its extremely frustrating. The website is actually faster than the app!

please add handwriting.

I wish we could draw on notes and make plans and this would be a win win for me

Please integrate with Siri in order to be a true alternative to Apples Reminders

I tried to do the most recent update, and it stopped before it was done, and now no matter what I do, its just stuck in limbo. I tried to reinstall the update, I tried to delete the app, and I have restarted the iPad Air 2. Nothing works. And I have yet to find a way to get help with it. The update worked perfectly on my iPhone. I have no idea what to do.

Great app. The home screen widget needs some work. A vertically oriented list/note just like in the app itself would be most ideal. Perhaps two lists/notes side by side in the iPhone widget area.

No Apple Watch app and sync issues with desktop and no Siri or iMessage integrations

Please add an option for snooze with many options like 1 minute 5 minute 10 minute or custom

This is simply a fabulous note-taking app, and it is somewhat surprising that it is so obscure. You can take notes, lists, reminders and more-- all in a simple, beautiful format. Best of all: It is all synced and backed up to the cloud via your Google account. (You do have a Google account, right?)
